Notice to Patients
The Open Payments database is a federal tool used to promote transparency by tracking payments and other transfers of value made by drug and device companies to physicians and teaching hospitals. This database is publicly accessible at cms.gov/openpayments.
The database shows financial relationships between healthcare providers and healthcare manufacturing companies. These relationships may include consulting fees, research payments, travel reimbursement, or payments for speaking at conferences. The federal government requires this reporting to ensure transparency in healthcare.
You may search the Open Payments database to view payments made to physicians, including Dr. Boris Zaks. Please note that payments or transfers of value do not necessarily indicate an inappropriate relationship.
