Restylane Beverly Hills

Restylane is made of Hyaluronic acid, a substance normally found in the skin that helps keep it plump. The hyaluronic acid molecule is hydrophilic, or “water-loving,” a feature that allows it to bind to water to provide long-lasting results. Restylane restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct, smooth and plump, returning the face to a youthful fullness.

“Incredible. I haven’t looked this good in ages. Between Restylane, Botox and Titan, I’ve dropped at least 10 years. I’m ready for whatever you suggest next, Dr. Zaks. No one believes I’m 54 – not even my mother!” Jason L.

Restylane is frequently administered along with Botox. Synergistic response makes the dual product injection longer lasting for both. Dr. Zaks will explain why this is a recommended treatment technique if you use both Botox and a dermal filler such as Restylane.

Pretreatment Tips

  • If you have previously suffered from facial cold sores, there is a risk that the needle punctures could contribute to another recurrence. Speak to your physician about medications that may minimize a recurrence.
  • One week prior to your next treatment with Restylane, avoid taking St. John’s Wort, high doses of Vitamin E supplements, aspirin, and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, such as ibuprofen. These agents may increase bruising and bleeding at the injection site.
